Successful 4 dan exam in Vienna

 

Our club member Miklos Ilyés successfully passed 4 dan exam in Vienna. Japanese teachers came to the exam from the International Budo University from Katsuura.

Brasilian kendokas visited our club

Tomomi Harashima sensei, kendo 5 dan, and Omine Leandro, 4 dan kendo, paid a brief visit in Budapest from. Harashima sensei and our club member, Zoltan Bárány kendo 5 dan, practiced kendo together in Kitamoto in 1998. During their trip we were glad to host our friends from Brasil in our club.

Our guest are from Sao Paolo, where they are members of Federacao Paulista de Kendo. Harashima sensei also holds the postion of vice technical director.

Also, we were happy to have Omine sensei as a guest teacher for a few trainings, in which the focus was on the importance of kihon.


Hajdúnánás Cup 2009

Ákos Szegőfi took 3rd in the Hajdúnánás Cup, which is the very last kendo event in Hungary in 2009.
